At Swadeshi Basket, we are dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

This policy outlines the procedures for returns and refunds for all products purchased through our website.

1. Shipping Policy

Processing Time All orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days. During peak periods or festival seasons, processing may take slightly longer, but we will make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible.

Domestic Delivery (Within India)

  • Typically, orders are delivered within 3-7 business days depending on your location.

  • Delays may occasionally occur due to high demand, festival seasons, or unforeseen weather conditions.

International Delivery (Rest of the World) We ship globally! Delivery times and costs vary based on the destination country and the shipping method selected at checkout:

  • Standard/Economy Shipping: Estimated delivery within 10–25 business days.

  • Express Shipping: Estimated delivery within 4–7 business days.

  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes: All international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Swadeshi Basket is not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance processes.

International Delivery & Flat Rates We ship to over 190 countries worldwide! To keep things simple, we offer flat-rate shipping based on your global region (cost based on 250gm weight).

  • North America (USA, Canada, Mexico): ₹1,000 INR

  • Europe (UK, Germany, France, Italy, etc.): ₹800 INR

  • Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, etc.): ₹600 INR

  • Asia Pacific (Australia, Singapore, Japan, etc.): ₹800 INR

  • Rest of the World (South America, Africa, etc.): ₹1,200 INR

Note: These flat rates cover standard international shipping (delivery within 10–25 business days). Any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Order Tracking Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email, allowing you to track your shipment in real-time.

2. Returns & Damage Claims

Due to the delicate nature of artificial jewelry, we only accept returns or replacements if the product arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the incorrect item. We do not offer returns for a change of mind.

The Unboxing Video Requirement (Mandatory) To be eligible for a damage or defect claim, we require a clear, unedited unboxing video.

  • The video must show the sealed package being opened from the very beginning.

  • The damage or defect must be clearly visible in the video.

  • Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video unfortunately cannot be processed.

Reporting a Claim You have 7 days from the date of delivery to report a damaged or incorrect item. Please inspect your order immediately upon reception and notify us within 24 hours for the fastest resolution.

To initiate a claim, email us at contact@swadeshibasket.com with your order number and the unboxing video.

Hygiene Exceptions For hygiene and safety reasons, we strictly cannot accept returns or exchanges on pierced earrings or earring sets unless they arrived damaged and are reported via the unboxing video procedure above.

3. The Return Process

Once our team verifies your unboxing video and approves the return, we will provide you with the next steps.

  • For Domestic (India) Orders: If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup or provide a return shipping label, along with instructions on how to send your package back.

  • For International Orders: Due to the high cost of cross-border logistics, international customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping to our facility in India. In some cases of minor damage, we may offer a partial refund without requiring the item to be shipped back, at our sole discretion.

To be eligible for a return processing, the item must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via email will not be accepted.

4. Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please allow 15-20 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, as processing times vary between banks and credit card companies.

Exchanges If you wish to exchange a damaged item for a new one, the fastest way is to follow the return process for the damaged item. Once the return/refund is approved, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
