Style and Design
The saree has small repeating woven butis in red, green and black on the body. Over the lower border is a series of red and green triangular, house-like motifs. The borders themselves are a deep red with yellow and green geometric cross patterns worked into them. The lower part of the saree or pallu is filled with wide vertical red stripes with interlocking diamond shapes and small square patterns. The lower edge is trimmed with a neat row of hand-tied red tassels.
